Right at this moment I find myself to be very happy, and it feels amazing.
I think it must be because I'm listening to Ben Folds and no matter what he is singing about, it's always happy music. And music in general makes me happy.
I take a good look at myself and my situation and I realize that I think I'm at a good part of my life. There isn't anything that I have to worry about and I can just hang around and be happy.
I have already taken care of getting into high school so that is out of the way. I'm on spring break and I can relax for a week and a half. And I have about forty days of my middle school career left. Right now I am listening to new, happy music (my two favorite kinds of music in one) so I'm diggin' it. This may be just an overwhelming mental realization that I don't have school tomorrow and I can sleep in as long as I want and read, write, or listen to music as much as I want.
Moving past a long far-fetched discussion of my current mood, I am extremely looking forward to the night of July 31, 2010. Not only is this day Harry Potter and Joann Rowling's birthday it is also the day that my best friend and I are going to see Paramore on the Honda Civic tour! The night should be quite enjoyable. Paramore's music is so fun, meaningful, beautiful, and clever and I am so stoked.
But here's the big one. On August 11, 2010, two of my other best friends and I are going to see the band that pulled us together six years ago. We're going to see Green Day in Washington, D.C. I know that I have mentioned it before (ha, ha maybe a couple of times) that we went last summer and it was amazing. It was the perfect pilgrimage to our friendship's origin. There are only about a million reasons that we should go see them again within a little over a year.
Even though the event was perfect, there was something that I would want to change. Last time I experienced almost the entire thing through medium of a video camera. I hate myself for doing it so this time I'm leaving the camera at home. I am so frickin' excited and I can't wait for April 7th when we order the tickets. We have a big bash, if you will, planned for when we do. AHHH!! Can't wait!!
Well I should get going but before I do I must make a shameless plug.
I made a blog on wordpress.com for creative writing.
it is at www.rachelclev.wordpress.com. I have not posted anything yet but I will as soon as I can get creative juices flowing!
Ok goodbye cupcakes!
